Rain-out shelters-ILVO

The system consists of three mobile rain-out shelters in open field. Each rain-out shelter can be moved to three different positions (in addition to the parking area). This offers flexibility in the planning of experiments and allows the implementation of crop rotations necessary to maintain an optimal soil condition. Irrigation can be applied and adjusted separately in each shelter.

A dodecacopter that can be equipped with different types of cameras to monitor individual plants, plots, and production fields in terms of yield, quality and stress response. ILVO has about 200 ha dedicated to crop research and practical breeding of several crops.
